You can make an appointment by phone anytime between regular business hours for any of TCD's three testing locations. Note: Motorcycle examinations must be done at the main TCD location. • Once your vehicle have passed the examination, pay the annual registration fee. Exemptions to Annual Examination: Private cars are exempt from examination in their second and fourth year of ownership. These vehicles must still be registered, however the inspection for these years are waved.

The terms and conditions below (the 'Terms') provide the basis upon which the Transport Control Department will provide the online booking of appointments. Users must acknowledge that they have read and accepted these Terms.

Example: For vehicles bought in 2003, you do not need to have it examined for the year 2004 and 2006. If a car is no longer owned by its original purchaser that vehicle must be inspected every year.
